2005 Illinois State Challenge Cup

Sunday, February 13    29th floor of the Hilton

The Bar Point Club dominated the tournament with an
incredible 20-4 record.  They repeated as champions
for the first time since the Pub Club did it in 1992-93.

3 of their members split the side pool with 4-0 records:
Carter Mattig, Lucky Nelson, and Tak Morioka.

David Rockwell and Carter both got their names on the
cup for the first time. Taki won for the 11th time in his
career, but first since 1996.  Tim Mabee has won 6 times
and Gary Kay added his 4th victory while Lucky now has 2.

Peoria rallied for a 9-3 finish in the last two rounds to claim
a distant second place after finishing dead last in 2004.
